Biography
Claudia Leisinger (b.1974) Based in London, Claudia spent her early childhood in India and Bhutan, before returning to Switzerland in 1980. She graduated from the MA course in Photojournalism at the London College of Communication in 2007 with "The Changes Within: Bhutan Between Monarchy and Democracy" a story which documented Bhutan's shift towards its first-ever democratic elections. This was published in the NZZ (Neue Zuercher Zeitung). She works as a freelance photographer for NGOs and magazines such as the Big Issue and The Telegraph and continues to produce her own photo-essays.

Mitch Karunaratne

Biography
Mitch Karunaratne (b.1969) is a photographer based in London, currently studying MA Photography at University of Brighton. She is currently working on a series which explores the constructed mythologies of place, where our own histories, memory, story and fantasy collide. By looking back at her home, Canvey Island, seeing the objects, the places, the under loved and over looked she gives meaning to our sense of belonging and our relationship with place.

Biography
Christopher King (b.1971) Graduated B.A. (hons) Editorial Photography Brighton in 2000. In 2009 he was the Tower of London's first Photographer in Residence, culminating in the work 'Other Histories'. His work has been exhibited across Europe and the UK, and his photographs are held in National and Private collections. He is currently working on new projects that further explore our relationship with official recorded histories.

John Saint

Biography
John Saint (b 1973) is a photographer based in West London. His clients are mainly corporate but his real interest is documentary photography. He has recently been covering environmental and anti-cuts protests; as well as working on several ongoing projects including traditional rag n bone men, free running and The Thames.

Biography
Amelia Shepherd (b.1973) graduated from the University of Westminster in 2007 with a first class BA Degree in Photography and recently graduated with Distinction from the Masters in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at London College of Communication. Recently Amelia's Peacehaven in III Parts project was shown as an installation during the Brighton Photo Fringe 2010.

Harry Watts

Biography
Harry Watts (Winchester, England, 1987). A graduate from Brighton University (2009) with a degree in Editorial Photography. In May 2009 Italian Vogue selected him for a solo show in the Salvatore Ferragamo flagship store (London), following this with a show in Madrid (2010) and Monte Carlo (2011). His must recent work, FINDS was part of the 2010 Brighton Photo Fringe Festival.

Biography
Leon Foggitt (b.1985) graduated with a BA (Hons) Degree in Documentary Photography from the University of Wales, Newport in 2009. His photographs have been published internationally and exhibited in England and Wales. In 2010 Leon was selected to be included in Grand Prix Foto Festiwal, Poland. Leon currently lives in Brighton, England.

Mark Makela (b. 1978) is a London based photojournalist specializing in editorial, documentary and portrait photography. A graduate of the MA in Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication. He has covered Obama's inuguration in Washington DC, Sami Reindeer herders in Northern Finland and most recently followed the UK General Elections.

Andrew Harrison

Andrew Harrison (b.1979) BA and MA in Fine Art painting (Wimbledon School of Arts). An interest in architecture, structure, perspective and cityscapes have been the main interest behind his paintings, but recently made the transition to photography in order to document accurately and precisely the intricacies of inner city architecture. He currently lives and works in East London.

Biography
Trevor Attwood (b. 1953) started taking photography seriously in 2000 when he began recording his observations of the urban environment. He documents the results of the interactions between people and their surroundings, and observes the effects of light, reflection, shadow and space in the cityscape. He is self-taught and has participated in many exhibitions in England.

Gemma Cumming

Biography
Gemma graduated in 2006 from Loughborough University. Her practice utilises and explores postcards, tourist imagery and the perception of place. For the last 5 years she has been focused primarily on painting. However her practice is routed in photography. She is currently working on a photographic project that instead of exposing the falseness of the postcard image tries instead to form a more realistic portrayal of her local environment.

Alexander Williamson (b. 1979) is a poet and photographer based in London. His completed projects include portraits of poets, white collar workers and fitness fanatics. He is currently working on a documentary project focusing on New Covent Garden Market.

Biography
Brian Moody (b. 1954) has been a freelance photographer for 35 years, a commercial portrait photographer, he has worked for colour supplements, newspapapers and feature magazines. Recently he has been working on a series for Country Life entitled "Best of British" the stories ranging from a Chimney Sweep, Saville Row tailor, Topiarist, Haggis makers, and a Vicar on his Quad bike.

Malachy Donnelly

Biography
Malachy Donnelly (b. 1986) graduated from the University of Brighton with a 2:1 Degree in Editorial Photography in 2008. He is both a documentary and landscape photographer covering subjects such as his 'The Land Before Us' project exploring communities and their relationship to the environment and the project '(un)Familiar Night' which explores the conceptual landscape and its relationship to geographic and aesthetic boundaries.

Brendan Berry

Biography
Brendan Berry (b. 1986) graduated in 2009 from the University of Wales, Newport, where he studied Documentary Photography. Since graduation he has been selected by Ashley Givens (Assistant curator of photography at the V&A Museum) for the Source graduate 09 website. He has also had work exhibited in Bristol and is currently working on a commission from Gwent council for an international exhibition entitled, ‘A Brush With Light’.

Dan Bass

Biography
Dan Bass (b. 1971) Studied at Rochester and Maidstone UCA, formerly known as KIAD. His recent personal work has taken the form of building large photographic archives of abandoned objects, Happy Birthday posters, lost shoes and over two hundred shots of random messages shot mainly on the north Kent coast. A selection of his photographs, and a short film were featured in the Folk Archive touring exhibition and catalogue, curated by Jeremy Deller and Alan Kane. He is currently working on two publishing projects in Hawaii and Paris.

Ben Speck

Biography
Ben Speck (b.1981) is a German documentary photographer based in Norway. He moved to Portugal in 1990 with his family and after finishing school there, he went to England to study in 1999. After an Art & Design foundation course, a BA Photography and several years of assisting established photographers, he graduated from the MA Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the London College of Communication in December 2006. Since then, his work has been featured in international publications in twelve countries.

Wendy Pye

Biography
Wendy's personal work stems from an interest in exploring human conditions and creating a visual vocabulary to express an emotional reaction to a given time or place. She is particularly interested in symbolism and the language of the unconscious mind, creating images that can conjure up fostered impressions and complex concepts of our own inner state. She has recently graduated from The MA in Photographic Arts at The London College of Communication, London.

Biography
Homer Sykes (b.1949) has been a professional photographer for over 40 years. He has worked on commission for clients across the world. However he principally worked for what used to be called the weekend colour supplements. The Telegraph, The Sunday Times, The Observer, You Magazine and the Sunday Express magazine. He also shot weekly news for Newsweek, Time, and the former Now! magazine, covering conflicts in Israel, Lebanon, West Africa and Northern Ireland, as well as weekly news in the UK. His work is held in private collections and exhibited widely, more recently at Tate Britain and the Victoria and Albert Museum London.

Simon Roberts

Simon Roberts (b.1974) graduated with a first-class BA (Hons) Degree in Human Geography from the University of Sheffield (1996) and a Diploma in Photojournalism from Sheffield College (1997). His photographs have been published and exhibited widely, with recent shows at Klompching Gallery in New York and the Museum of Modern Art in Shanghai. They are represented in major public and private collections, including the Deutsche Börse Art Collection and the Wilson Centre for Photography.
