Biography
Simon Norfolk (b.1963) educated in England finishing at Oxford and Bristol universities with a degree in philosophy and sociology. In 1994 he gave up photojournalism in favor of landscape photography. He has won numerous international accolades, in 2004 winning the Infinity Award from the ICP in New York and in 2005 Le Prix Dialogue in Arles. His most noted work, Chronotopia, landscape photographs from Afghanistan, having found worldwide critical acclaim. An excellent orator on landscape photography lecturing internationally on the subject with his own distinctive style.
